The Striped snake plant, also called mother-in-law's tongue, plant is a particularly durable and persistent plant. Because it is very robust, it is ideal for beginners and people without green thumbs. The Sansevieria originates from the warm and humid areas of Africa and therefore does not cope so well with cooler temperatures; it should therefore not have below 12°C at its location. The growth phase of the plant extends from about March to September or October. Their leaf edges have golden yellow longitudinal stripes.
