Chinese Banyan - Ficus Ginseng - height ca. 40 cm, pot-Ø 17 cm
Item number 100H0195
The Ficus 'Ginseng' originally comes from Southeast Asia, India, Malaysia and Australia. Nowadays, however, it can also be found in southern Europe, for example on the Balearic Islands. Here the warmth-loving plant from the mulberry family is mostly offered as a bonsai and is cultivated exclusively in pots as an indoor plant. A sunny location is important for the bonsai. The soil of the plant should always be kept moderately moist, but damming up moisture and too much water should be avoided. The plant should be handled with care, as all plant parts of the Ficus 'Ginseng' are poisonous.
