The garden bamboo (Fargesia Rufa) is a medium-sized bamboo variety that grows between 60 cm and 3 meters high and is particularly popular. Due to its good pruning tolerance, the umbrella bamboo is also an excellent hedge plant. The ideal condition for the bamboo is a humus-rich, sandy and well-drained soil. Soil amendment with bamboo soil is possible. The soil should not dry out. However, garden bamboo is one of the most robust and easy to care for plants.
