The Safira columnar plum is particularly well suited to balconies, small gardens or terraces, as it requires little space due to its columnar, slender growth, but still promises high yields. Its dark red, juicy, sweet-sour fruits are ready for harvest in mid/late August. The columnar plum is hardy and easy to care for. It can reach a height of 3 to 4 metres. Particularly beautiful are its fragrant, white flowers in spring, which exude a fairytale atmosphere and are very popular with bees and other insects. The tasty fruits are ideal for snacking directly from the tree or for processing into cakes, jam, compote or similar products.
