Mosaic Plant red - Fittonia Verschaffeltii Forest Flame - height ca. 15 cm, pot-Ø 7 cm
Item number NEW-150
Mosaic Plants are a plant genus within the acanthus family (Acanthaceae). All Fittonia species originate from tropical South America. Some species and their varieties are cultivated as ornamental plants. Fittonias originating from the tropical rainforests are small-leaved, with a flat, low growth pattern. They are characterised by their roundish oval and pointed leaves, which grow in opposite directions on short stems and on which a filigree network of colourful veins forms. The Fittonia likes it warm all year round according to its tropical origin. It should therefore not be placed below 15 °C during the winter period.
