For fresh and dried flower arrangements for almost any occasion. OASIS® RAINBOW® FOAM opens up completely new perspectives in floristry: the sticking foam is transformed from a purely functional element to a creative element. It is the ideal basis for open designs in transparent containers and requires very little floral material. As it is particularly firm, it can be used as fresh and dried flower foam. Unlike conventional floral foam, it does not need to be covered, but with only a little floral material, a high impact and an extraordinary look can still be achieved. Do not water OASIS® RAINBOW® FOAM together with normal floral foam. OASIS® RAINBOW® FOAM should not be watered together with normal fresh flower foam, as it may absorb the abrasion of the green foam and thus become contaminated. The watering container should be clean and high enough. Always place the OASIS® cutting foam on the water and let it soak itself up. Never press it under water, roll it in water or water it from above! Because it is also suitable for dry floristry, its water-holding capacity is somewhat less than that of green fresh flower foam. It is therefore advisable to regularly re-water the finished arrangement. This will keep the flowers fresh for a long time. Always add flower food to the water, preferably FLORALIFE® Clear Flower Food, so that the water remains clear (without addition, the water would turn milky-cloudy after a short time). The colours of OASIS® RAINBOW® FOAM become somewhat darker and thus more intense when watered. Due to the lower water holding capacity, the flower stems should be placed deep enough to reach the well-moistened lower part of the foam when designing in shallow bowls. Due to the particularly high strength of OASIS® RAINBOW® FOAM, it is advisable to pre-punch corresponding depressions in the foam for soft, sensitive stems with a sharpened stick. This prevents the stems from being damaged during cutting. When used as dry flower foam, the handling is identical to that of OASIS® SEC. Discoloured areas can simply be sanded away with a dry foam of the same colour.
