"This 3-piece set consists of three popular houseplants. The Livistona is an umbrella palm and originates from Java. It actually grows slowly, but can be fast-growing at higher temperatures, bright location and not too low humidity. It has a smooth, gray trunk from which emerge circular, dark to medium green leaves. As a tropical houseplant, the evergreen golden fruit palm, also known as areca palm, brings a year-round vacation feeling to your home. In addition, it improves the indoor climate due to its air-purifying properties. It captivates with its opulent, umbrella-shaped mop of overhanging fronds. Since the areca palm is native to the humid tropics of Madagascar, the soil should always be kept moist without standing with its roots in water. It prefers a bright location, but does not tolerate direct sunlight. Ficus elastica, also known by its German name Gummibaum, belongs to the mulberry family and originates from India and Indonesia. There, the rubber tree grows up to 25 meters high. In this country, it was a popular houseplant, especially in the 1980s. For some years now, it has been making a comeback.
