Item number 100H0267
Peperomia, also called decorative or dwarf pepper, is a plant genus in the pepper family (Piperaceae). The approximately 1500 to 1700 Peperomia species are common in almost all tropical areas. This plant is available in a variety of leaf colours: pure green, white-green, yellow-green, red-brown, pure red or silver striped. The leaf structures and their growth are also diverse, ranging from thin to fleshy thick, smooth or wrinkled, from upright growing to flat crawling or hanging. The dwarf pepper "Smit Rosso" has fleshy tapered leaves, which are green on the upper side and red on the underside. Due to the slightly upward curved growth, the reddish coloured underside of the leaves is also visible.
