Für die Verwendung von Strohrömern gibt es zahlreiche Anlässe und Einsatzzwecke Tischkranz als Deko bei Feiern (etwa als Geburtstagskranz oder Jubuläumskranz); als Autokranz bei Hochzeiten; saisonale Feierlichkeiten: Osterkranz, Maikranz, Herbstkranz oder Adventskranz; das ganze Jahr hindurch als Türkranz oder Fensterkranz.
